Curae exists for the millions of people who live here without fluent Japanese, so that finding a clinic, booking a visit, and being understood feel normal, not daunting.
In the moment you feel worst, the search begins. You call clinics to ask if anyone speaks your language. You wait on hold. You get turned away, or told to bring someone who speaks Japanese. You rehearse your symptoms in a language you're still learning, and hope you understood the reply.
In any other part of life, you'd simply pick a business that served you well. But when you can't see who speaks your language or what to expect, you can't really choose at all. So you accept whatever you can get.
We hand the choice back to you.

Doctors didn't train for years to become translators and receptionists. Curae brings them patients who are a good fit, with the language and details sorted up front, so their team can spend time on care, not coordination.

Where we stand
Free for patients
Searching, asking the AI assistant, and sending booking requests are free for patients, always. You pay the clinic directly for your care, as usual.
Honest listings
Clinics pay a flat monthly fee to be listed, never per patient or per booking. Payment never changes the facts in a listing, its reviews, or whether it's marked Curae-checked.
Not a medical provider
Curae is a directory and booking service, not a clinic. We don't diagnose or give medical advice, and our guides are information, not a substitute for seeing a doctor.
