Curae is built by a small team who believe not speaking Japanese should never keep anyone from good care. We build carefully, in the open, and answer to patients first.
Founder / CEO
Started Curae after watching friends in Japan put off seeing a doctor because they couldn't face the phone call in Japanese. He works hands-on across design and build, shaping the brand, writing the product, and deciding what Curae takes on next. He'd rather get a few things right (a listing you can trust, a booking that actually goes through) than chase features.

Leads how Curae reaches the people who need it, often when they're new to Japan and don't yet know where to look. He builds outreach across search, community, and clinic partnerships, reads what's working, and makes sure a clinic that speaks your language is easy to find before you're unwell.

Keeps Curae sustainable so it can stay free for patients. He owns the numbers behind the flat clinic-listing model, making sure the business stands on clinic subscriptions, never on charging people who are just trying to see a doctor.
